HI all! I had the joy of photographing my brother’s wedding a couple weeks ago. It was a beautiful wedding, and fun reception. I was happy to see most of my family members there. I am now happy to have a new sister-in-law and two new nieces! (Though, of course, they’ve been practically family for a while now). Here are a few fun photos from the wedding and reception.
In January, I was invited to photograph a Park Lane Jewelry Fashion Show benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in honor of a local girl fighting leukemia. It was quite an honor, and I had a great time. The girls modeling the jewelry had lots of fun, and looked great! Here are a couple photos from the show:
I had lots of fun with a good friend and her family last weekend. I love photographing this family, whether it’s for birthdays, family photos, or just a get-together, because she always has such fun ideas! This year, her holiday photos were centered around the whole family’s Converse shoes. How fun is that?! Here are a few sneak peek:At the moment, I don’t have any more photo shoots or events scheduled before Christmas, so in case I don’t post again before then, have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
It’s been a busy and exciting summer already in the “Moments Captured” world. I’ve enjoyed the birthday party and wedding/reception jobs I’ve been privileged to photograph so far. I have a family outing to shoot this weekend, a family reunion later in the month and another wedding in Aug.! I’ve also enjoyed some personal photography moments during my kids’ dance recital, and a beautiful photo shoot at the park with my daughter. I feel I am learning, growing and improving with each job, and I love what I do. I hope to have some photos posted soon here and on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Moments-Captured/212649472102044?ref=ts
I wish everyone could be so blessed to be able to do what they love.
Thanks for stopping by. Please visit again soon.
I had a busy weekend of photographing a birthday party and a wedding. The party was a basketball 3 on 3 challenge for an 8 year old. There were lots of kids and family there, and many great photo ops. The wedding was a beautiful outdoor country wedding and BBQ. I got many great photos, and my favorite assistant, (husband), also took some great low-light shots. I’ve got lots of editing to do over this holiday weekend.
I’m so excited to get this blog up and running. Please be patient while it’s under construction.
I’m also super excited to get my new business going. By the end of May, I will have photographed 3 birthday parties and a wedding for new clients (not only friends and family). I’m so appreciative to my loyal friends and family who have been my guinea pigs and my cheerleaders, and have introduced me to these new clients – and hopefully many more to come. I plan to post a few photos from recent events, and continue to add more as I get more jobs. Thanks for visiting!
